Auburn, Ala. - A portion of East University Drive will be closed Thursday, May 8, for work planned by Alabama Power Company.

The outside westbound lane of East University Drive will be closed between Gatewood Drive and Stoker Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
